Alberta Moose Hunting
Alberta offers some of the best moose hunting in North America, with the Canadian subspecies of moose roaming throughout the province’s diverse landscapes. From dense willow swamps to wide-open grain fields, these majestic creatures can be found in a variety of habitats.
During the rut in September and October, bull moose are in search of cows, making for an exhilarating hunting experience. The chance to encounter a bull with antlers over 40 inches in width is real, as they call and aggressively thrash through the landscape, making their presence known.
In addition to the prime rut season, Alberta also offers a late-season hunt in November, providing non-residents the opportunity to hunt moose during the peak of the Whitetail and Mule Deer rut. This unique timing creates the perfect combination hunt.
Our moose hunting allocations are in one of the most exclusive in all of Alberta. We hold the only guiding allocations in this prime area, ensuring unparalleled access to some of the largest moose in the province. With only a select few tags allocated each year, these hunts are highly coveted.

What to Expect
Join us in Alberta for a moose hunt you won’t forget! We offer bowhunts during the rut (Sept–Oct) where you’ll call in aggressive bulls, often getting shots within 50 yards. Most of the hunt is on foot, though treestands can be used when conditions are right.
In November, our rifle hunts target bulls moving through agricultural zones, with comfortable blind setups overlooking field edges and travel routes. Expect shots under 250 yards.
After the hunt, relax in our cozy lodge, complete with comfortable accommodations and hearty home-cooked meals.
This is the real deal — whether you're calling a bull up close and personal, or settling the crosshairs on a giant, we have the hunt for you!
7-Day Alberta Trophy Moose Rut Bowhunt
Archery in the Peak Rut
There’s nothing like it. The air is crisp, the colors are changing, and the bulls are fired up. With a few well placed calls, you can pull a rut-crazed Alberta bull out of thick timber—grunting, swaying, and looking for love. These are close encounters with 1,000-pound animals, often inside bow range. Every crack of a branch could be the bull of a lifetime coming in silent. Every call you make could tip the scale.
It’s primal. It’s personal. And it’s pure adrenaline.

7-Day Alberta Trophy Moose Late Season Rifle Hunt
Rifle in the Late Season
When the rut cools down and the snow starts to fly, Alberta turns into a spot-and-stalk hunter’s playground. Bulls break from cover to feed in the agriculture and river valleys, revealing their massive bodies and signature paddles. With a rifle in hand and a good set of glass, you’ll cover ground and pick your moment. It’s classic, rugged, and raw.
